Description/Blazon
Upon a gold globe with brick red latitude and longitude lines a steam locomotive affront of the second above a brick red scroll with the motto "PREST POUR MON PAIS" in gold lettering.

Symbolism
The design indicates the railroad affiliation and the global nature of the supervision exercised by the Headquarters, the latitude and longitude lines enhancing the symbolism of railroad tracks covering the world.

Background
The distinctive unit insignia was approved on 23 February 1943.  It was rescinded on 2 October 1959.
